Concrete Chipping Brothers will provide all concrete chipping service personnel with necessary supervision and equipment necessary for the ready-mix concrete trucks, central mixers, and any other concrete mixing equipment on the client's plant to be cleaned and free of any concrete buildup or obstruction which could in any way prevent client's personnel from the performance of their daily job assignments.
Concrete Chipping Brothers will provide all necessary insurance and provide certificates on time during annual agreement or whenever requested by the client. Concrete Chipping Brothers carries $2,000,000.00 Comprehensive (General Aggregate) Insurance, $1,000,000.00 Workers Compensation and Employers Liability, $1,000,000.00 Excess/Umbrella Liability over G/L & W/C coverages.
Concrete Chipping Brothers employees are trained in Mixer Truck Lock Out Procedures, Confined Space Entry Permit and take part in regular Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety training, to ensure we are providing the best services in the safest manner possible.
We train our concrete removal technicians in the proper use of the jack hammer and all tools used to remove the hardened concrete from your concrete equipment to ensure we are protecting your investment.
The Crew Foreman will inspect the condition of the mixer drums before starting any job and will discuss any concerns with your company contact before starting the job. Once the mixer drum has been completed the foreman will inspect the drum again and report if there were any damages.
Concrete Chipping Brothers takes the quality of their work seriously; therefore, we cannot be held liable for damages that occur during cleaning if the thickness of the drum falls below minimum thickness. A few dents and dings are the nature of the business, damage discrepancies should be dealt with and resolved prior to billing or Concrete Chipping Brothers will not be held responsible. If needed an insurance claim through our general liability will be opened.
Unfortunately, there is not a mobile scale available that can be used by our crew to weigh the removed concrete. Our Crew Forman's have five plus years of experience in the concrete chipping service and can visibly measure the number of pounds removed. If your plant has scale on location, you are welcome to weigh the mixer trucks before and after they are chipped and compare to our measurements.
The specific amount of time for any given project depends on factors such as the number of trucks in your company’s fleet being serviced, the PSI your company uses and the amount of concrete buildup present. Our team of professional concrete chippers can generally complete most jobs within one overnight appointment, from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m.
However, we can provide a more accurate estimate once you provide our concrete specialist the details of your specific job, — the number of vehicles that will be serviced, length of time since they were last chipped, how much build up your mixer truck presents, etc. This helps us better plan for your hardened concrete removal needs, ensures we schedule enough time to complete the job and that we have everything we need to get your fleet back on the road.
We offer a variety of service plans that give you options that will help you protect your concrete equipment investment, save you money and keep your equipment performing at its peak. We strongly recommend having your fleet chipped on a routine schedule of every 3-6 months, to avoid any breakdowns, loss of work or inconsistent blended concrete.
